Peptide questions

More in the Help Center, or send us a question.

What are peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the building blocks of proteins. The body makes many of its own. The peptides in these programs are made in a lab and compounded by a licensed US pharmacy.

Are GLOW, KLOW, MOTS-c and BPC-157 FDA-approved?

No. They are compounded for an individual patient and are not FDA-approved. Most research on them is from lab and animal studies, and evidence in people is limited.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. Each program requires an online visit with a licensed provider, who decides whether it is appropriate for you.

When do peptide visits open?

Soon. Join the list on this page and we will contact you as soon as online visits open.

Do you serve Kissimmee and Orlando?

Yes. Awesentials is based in Kissimmee and works online, so adults across Central Florida and in other states where the clinical partner's providers are licensed can start from home.

Can athletes use these peptides?

BPC-157, TB-500 (thymosin beta-4 fragments) and MOTS-c are on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List. If you compete in a tested sport, check your sport's anti-doping rules and talk to your provider before starting.
