Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist: it acts like GLP-1, a hormone the gut releases after eating that helps regulate appetite and blood sugar. Through Awesentials it is a compounded weekly injection, formulated with B12 or glycine by a licensed US pharmacy, and available only after a licensed provider reviews your health history and decides whether it is appropriate and at what dose. It works best alongside changes in eating and activity.
Do not use if you or a family member have had medullary thyroid cancer, or if you have multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN 2). In animal studies these medications caused thyroid C-cell tumors; it is not known whether they do in people. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and stomach pain. Serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney problems from dehydration, low blood sugar when combined with some diabetes medications, and allergic reactions. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your provider about every medication you take and any history of pancreatitis, gallbladder, kidney or eye problems.
Ships from a licensed US pharmacy in discreet packaging, temperature-controlled where required. Cancel any time in your patient portal before the next billing date. See the Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
Awesentials provides no medical services. All care is provided by licensed providers through an independent clinical partner. This is a compounded medication prepared by a licensed US pharmacy for an individual patient on a provider's prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Individual results vary and no outcome is promised. 18+ only.
